How to report on ad performance across ad sets and campaigns
When running the same ad across multiple ad sets, it’s essential to evaluate the overall performance of that ad.
You can easily do this by grouping ads with the same name using the “Ad name” dimension.
This allows you to check the combined performance of ads sharing the same name across different ad sets.

Steps to recreate the view
- Open the performance view.
- Optional, if you don’t want to analyze the whole account: Select a Channel, Campaign, Ad Set or Ad that you would like to investigate closer.
- Change the Breakdown to Ad name.
- Change the Metric list to Performance.
